When you start your Domain Naming Service (DNS) on your computer running
Windows NT Server, you may receive the following error:
The DNS service will then terminate and you will receive the following events in your event log:
CAUSEThe HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CCS\Services\DNS\Zones registry key still has a subfolder/key for the zone but the zone file of <zone-file-name> is missing. RESOLUTION
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
