SYMPTOMS
When you save a file from a program to a LanManager-based server, you may experience delays when the server has a high number of network shares. CAUSEThis problem occurs because while saving the file, the LanManager network provider DLL enumerates all remote network shares because of a call to ShGetFileInfo. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or
