SYMPTOMSWhen you migrate data from a NetWare server to a Windows NT Server-based computer, some folder permissions (including the file permissions in those folders) may not be migrated. CAUSEThis behavior occurs when a folder name is longer than eight characters. RESOLUTIONWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
