SYMPTOMSWhen you log off a computer running Windows NT, the following error message may be displayed:
CAUSEThis problem may occur if your profile path is configured for a Novell NetWare-compatible server and you do not have the Create permission to the parent folder containing your profile. If you modify the desktop during the login session and then log off without the proper permissions to the folder location of the current profile, the changes cannot be saved and the error message is displayed. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Windows NT 4.0 service pack
