No Error Message If Dragging from Microsoft Exchange to Windows NT Explorer Does Not Work

SYMPTOMS

When you drag an item from a program (such as Microsoft Exchange) to a Windows NT Explorer window in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 with Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 1 installed, no error message occurs if the drive to which you are copying the file is full or does not exist.


RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6.
