ID: Q243046

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0

SYMPTOMS

You may notice that the SnmpSendMsg() API in the Snmpapi.dll file does not produce traps if a LAN adapter is not installed in the computer. Traps are not produced on Dial-up Networking interfaces by design, so you may notice these symptoms on computers with only a Dial-up Networking interface.
