On a source-routed Token Ring network, your Windows NT-based computer may experience delays or loss of connectivity when you attempt to communicate with other hosts using TCP/IP. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if TCP/IP receives an invalid ARP request by way of a new source route in which the sender's protocol address field in the ARP packet is 0.0.0.0. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Windows NT 4.0 service pack
