SYMPTOMSWhen you log on to a domain through a Remote Access Service (RAS) dial-up connection from a Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4.0-based computer, logon scripts that are set to run may not run. However, when you use the same user account to log on to the domain through a RAS dial-up connection from a Microsoft Windows 95-based computer, the logon scripts run as expected. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if the Windows NT Workstation 4.0-based computer does not have a computer account on the domain. In order for logon scripts to run, you must log on to the domain, and logging on to a domain from a Windows NT Workstation-based computer requires that the computer have a computer account on the domain. RESOLUTION
