The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYThe Windows for Workgroups ClipBook Viewer offers the option to "start application on connect" when a page is shared. This article describes what that means and when it should be used. MORE INFORMATION
In addition to static information such as a picture or text, some ClipBook
pages contain a reference to the application that the information
originated in. If you use the Paste Link option to paste the contents of
this kind of ClipBook page into an application that supports Dynamic Data
Exchange (DDE) or OLE, you establish a DDE or OLE link to the application
that created the original information. The application that the page is
paste linked into is the "client" application, while the application that
contains the original information is the "server" application. While this
link is active, the client application receives any updates to the
information if it changes in the server application.
