PRB: Spanish Instructions for Personal Web Server Refer to Setup.exe Instead of Instalar.exe

SYMPTOMS

There is a translation error in the Windows 98 Second Edition Spanish OEM Preinstallation Kit (OPK) CD in the \Lang\Spa\Cabs\Precopy2.cab\Pws_main.htm file. On the Spanish OPK CD-ROM, there is a \Lang\Spa\Pws\Instalar.exe file; however, there isn't a file called Setup.exe.

This behavior is by design.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior


  1. Ensure that Personal Web Server is installed.


  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs under Control Panel.


  3. Add Personal Web Server from Windows Options by Inicio->Configuracion->:anel de control->Agregar o quitar programas->Instalacion de WindowsHerramientas de Internet->Servidor personal de Web Launch Personal Web Server by clicking on Inicio -> Programas -> Accesorios -> Herramientas de Internet -> Personal Web Server.


  4. Follow instructions on the HTML page to set up Personal Web Server. It says to run C:\Windows\Options\Cabs\Pws\Setup.exe, but the file name should be Instalar.exe.
