SYMPTOMSDouble-byte characters appear as question marks when they are displayed in a rich edit control on English Windows NT 4.0. CAUSEThese fonts are Unicode fonts (that is, Chinese MS Mincho) and the rich edit control is not Unicode-enabled. RESOLUTIONUse the standard edit control. The standard edit control is Unicode-enabled and it displays double-byte characters correctly.
