BUG: WTSSetUserConfig Does Not Support Novell User Settings

SYMPTOMS

In the wtsapi32.h file included with the Platform SDK, you will find a WTS_USER_CONFIG_SET_NWSERVER structure. The structure implies that there is a enumerated type available in WTS_CONFIG_CLASS to support this structure with the WTSSetUserConfig API.

STATUS

There is no enumerated type to support this structure with the WTSSetUserConfig API.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

The command line utility, NDSPSVR is available to change, query, enable, and disable the preferred server but there are no utilites to specify username and password.
