Platform SDK: Fax Services |
This functionality is currently available only in the Win32 environment. It is not available in the COM implementation environment.
If a system has primarily one user, or if the system does not belong to a network, the profile delivery method for fax delivery reports (DRs) and non-delivery reports (NDRs) may be appropriate.
A fax client application can request profile delivery of DRs and NDRs in one of the following ways:
– Or –
When the fax server delivers reports using this method, it places the report in the default message store for the specified MAPI user profile. Typically, this is the Inbox Folder in a user's local personal information store.
If profile delivery reports are specified in a networked environment, the default message store can be an Inbox on a Microsoft® Exchange Server. The fax server must have read and write permission for the default message store. (This may require a change to the fax service account using the Manage Computer/Services application, a Microsoft Management Console snap-in component.)
