IFaxDoc::put_BillingCode

The IFaxDoc::put_BillingCode method changes the BillingCode property of a FaxDoc object. The BillingCode property is a null-terminated string that contains an optional application- or server-specific billing code that applies to the fax transmission.

Parameters

newVal

[in] Specifies the new value to assign to the BillingCode property.

Return Values

Returns an HRESULT value indicating success or failure. If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns a COM-defined error code.

You should not check directly for success or failure. Use the COM SUCCEEDED and FAILED macros instead.

Remarks

The fax server uses the BillingCode property to generate an entry in the fax event log. Billing codes are optional.
