Makes it possible for you to choose the manager for the selected user from the Windows NT domain list. You can type a domain and user name for the manager, or you can select a domain and user from the list.
The Choose Manager dialog box is only accessible to users who have SQL Server system administrator permissions on the server.
Manager name
Displays the selected Windows NT domain and user name. You can type a domain and user name or select one from the Available names list.
If you type a domain and user name, use the format, domain\user.
List names from domain
Lists the Windows NT domains from which you can select a manager.
Available names
Displays the names of the users in the selected domain.
To display a list of users, select a domain from the List names from domain box, click Refresh to display a list of users for that domain, and then select a user. The user name appears in the Manager name box.
OK
Accepts the name in the Manager name box, displays it in the Manager field in the User Details dialog box, and closes the Choose Manager dialog box.
Note This information is not saved until you click OK in the User Details dialog box.
Cancel
Cancels any changes and closes the dialog box.
Refresh
Refreshes the Names list from the selected domain. Refreshing may be time-consuming.
