The Access Workflow Designer tool is used to establish a table hierarchy, create and modify workflow processes, install and remove offline replication components, and create offline publications.
There are two ways to launch the designer: from within an Access 2000 data project and from the Start menu. You can open a database in Access 2000 and then launch the Access Workflow Designer; or you can launch the Access Workflow Designer from the Start menu and then select a server and database to work with.
To open a solution in the Access Workflow Designer from within Access
The designer is opened, and your team solution is displayed in the Object List.
Note If the database has not been registered, the Database Registration wizard is launched, and on its completion, the Access Workflow Designer is displayed.
To open a solution in the Access Workflow Designer from the Start menu
If the database is a registered team solution, the Access Workflow Designer opens, and your team solution is displayed in the Object List.
Note If the database has not been registered, the Database Registration wizard is launched. On its completion, the Access Workflow Designer is displayed.
Then, you can begin to add the Access Workflow Designer core features to your solution. For conceptual information about the features, see Access Workflow Designer Core Services. For details about creating your solutions, see Developing a Team Solution.
