Saving a Data Access Page to a Web

The first time you save a data access page, you have the opportunity to save it to a folder or Web site. It is recommended you save directly to your team Web site. After you have saved the page once, you will not have the opportunity to save the page to a different location.
To save a data access page
- Create your data access page. For details, see Creating Data Access Pages.
- From the File menu, select Save.
- In the Save in box, browse to the location to which to save. To save the data access page to your Web site, click Web Folders in the task bar, and then select the Web created for your solution. For details about creating the Web, see Creating a Web using FrontPage.
- In the File name box, enter a name for the file, and click Save.
If you have already saved the data access page to a folder, Access does not make it possible for you resave the page in an alternate location, such as your Web site.
Although there are other ways to move the data access page to the Web site, you can use the following procedure to add a data access page to your Web site.
To copy a previously saved data access page to a Web site
- In the Access database window, right-click a data access page.
- From the shortcut menu, select Cut or Copy.
- Right-click the white space in the database window, and select Paste.
- Enter a name for your data access page, and click OK.
- In the Save as Data Access Page dialog box, click Web Folders.
- Double-click the name of the Web site for your team solution, and click Save.
