Creates a filter on the publication that specifies a subset of rows in the main tables that should be replicated.
You can define relationships between main user tables to filter one table based on another. For example, you can create filters that take only the issues assigned to the logged-on user offline.
A filter defined on a main table automatically applies to the related rows in associated detail tables. However, the filter does not apply to the associated lookup tables. All their data will be replicated.
For details about filtering operators, see Offline Publication Filtering Reference.
Filters list
Displays all main tables and the text for their filters. If there is no filter applied to a main table, “No filter” appears in the Filter field. The Join and Join Filter columns display any relationships between filtered tables. Only the main tables selected on the Tables tab are included in this list.
Edit Filter
Opens the Offline Replication Filter dialog box where you can specify filter criteria for the selected table.
Add Relationship
Displays the Add Relationship dialog box that makes it possible for you to specify a table to relate to the selected main table and the columns that relate them. This option is available only when your solution has more than one main table defined.
Remove Relationship
Removes the selected relationship. There is no undo function. If you want to add the relationship again, use the Add Relationship button and redefine the relationship.
Re-create SQL Publication
Whenever you make changes to your team solution that will impact your offline publication, you must re-create the publication to make those changes available to your users. If you make changes to the schema without re-creating your publications, your offline users may not be able to synchronize their changes.
