Setting Up Gateway and Client Services for NetWare

Before you set up ADSI to work with NDS, the Novell NetWare gateway and client services must be installed properly, and the Novell NDS Server must be accessible from the network.

Note  Adsnds.dll and Activeds.dll must be installed on the client system in order for that client to be able to have access to the provider.

To Install gateway and client services on Windows NT 4.0

  5. Click OK to install, then reboot.
  6. Reinstall the appropriate Windows NT Service Pack, then reboot.
  7. Install (or reinstall) ADSI 2.5 or higher (http://www.microsoft.com/adsi).

Note  You must install ADSI after you have installed the Gateway and Client Service for NetWare.
