Binding to a Search Start Point

You can bind to any object in any of the following areas:

• Domain
• Schema
• Configuration

In addition, you can bind to the global catalog, which contains a partial replica of all domains, as well as partial replicas of the schema and configuration containers. For more information on when to search in the domain, schema, configuration, and global catalog, see Where to Search.
