Terra Flora will use DSMN to synchronize the user accounts and passwords on both the Windows NT and NetWare servers. Because DSMN simplifies network administration tasks, Terra Flora can save time and money.
By using DSMN, NetWare servers can be added to the Windows NT domain and then be administered as part of that domain. The NetWare users are added to the directory database residing on the Windows NT PDC. All permissions granted to users on the NetWare servers can be granted on servers running Windows NT Server. Similarly, all permissions granted to users in the Windows NT domain can be granted on servers running NetWare. Administrators no longer need to add individual users to each individual server.
