Note For best results, the samples that accompany the chapters in the Microsoft Office 2000/Visual Basic Programmer's Guide must be installed in the C:\OPG directory on your machine. You can use the Setup.exe program in the ..ODETools\V9\Samples\OPG folder on the Office 2000 Developer CD to install the sample files in the correct location. Many of the samples contain code requiring the sample files to be in the specified path.
If you would like to install the samples elsewhere, you may need to modify the code for the sample to work correctly.
In addition to the samples provided on the Microsoft Office 2000 Developer CD, the Code Librarian database contains numerous code snippets that can be easily inserted into your code module. Many of the samples in the Microsoft Office 2000/Visual Basic Programmer's Guide are also included in the Code Librarian database.
