Database Window (Code Librarian)

See Also

The Database window is located in the left pane of the Code Librarian window and displays the Code Librarian contents for the designated database. From the Database window, you can search for code snippets in three ways: categories, keywords, and full-text search.

You can also create new categories and keywords and modify and delete existing ones. Whether or not deleting category and keyword deletes the associated code depends on the settings in the Options dialog box. The default setting does not delete the associated code when you delete a category or keyword from the database.

The Code Librarian comes with a database of commonly used code. This database is located in Office 2000 Developer directory at ..\Microsoft Office\ODETools\V9\CodeLib.mdb.

For More Information   For more information about using the Code Librarian, see Sharing and Reusing Source Code.
