Use the Description tab to define the type of code and to provide a text description of what the code is. All information entered on the Description tab helps developers find the right code quickly and easily.
When searching for code in the Code Librarian, the full-text search engine looks for matching criteria in the description field. It is recommended, therefore, that you provide as much detail as needed by those using the code database, including parameters and return values.

Tip To easily insert the selected code snippet into your code module, from the Toolbar, select the Insert Code in Module or Copy Code to Clipboard options.
Specify the type of code
Specifies the type of source code. This information appears in the Type field in the code pane. The listed options include:
Enter a description that describes the code
Specify the parameters, return values, and general description for your code. As you browse the Code Librarian, this information is displayed at the bottom of the code pane. To make it easier to find the code during a search, be as detailed as possible when entering information in this field.
