Check In Objects from SourceSafe Dialog Box (VBA Source Control Add-In)

Copies an updated (currently Checked out) version of one or more selected files from your current project into the Visual SourceSafe project. This command unlocks the Visual SourceSafe master copy. When other users use the Get Latest Version or Check Out commands, they receive all the modifications you have made. This command unlocks the Visual SourceSafe master copy.

Options

File Type

Lists the file type to be checked in. All Files lists all the files in the current folder.

Files to be Checked In

Lists the files to check in which are located in the current folder (according to the selected File Type).

Keep Checked Out

Updates the master copy with your changes but keeps the file checked out to you.

Comment

Type a brief description of the reason for checking these files in.

Deselect

Clears the check box beside the file name. This indicates the file will not be checked in.

Select All

Selects the check box beside the file name. This indicates the file will be checked in.

Deselect All

Clears the check box beside all the file names. This indicates none of the files will be checked in.

Differences

Compares the file you want to check in with the Visual SourceSafe master copy and displays the differences. This feature is useful if you want to enter a meaningful comment when you check in the file.
