Use the Login dialog box to log on to a Visual SourceSafe database. This dialog box displays when you start Visual SourceSafe.

User Name
Type your user name.
Password
Type your Visual SourceSafe password (if you have one).
Database
Select the Visual SourceSafe database. This list contains all of the Visual SourceSafe databases you have accessed from the Visual SourceSafe 6.0 stand-alone product.
Browse
Use this command to browse for a different database.
