You can optionally package your dependency file into a .cab file for distribution on the Web. Enter a name for the .cab file, a URL from which it can be retrieved, and the default file to execute when the .cab file is downloaded. The file to execute must be an .exe or .inf file.
When you are working with dependency files, you should package and deploy your component, then create the necessary .dep file and deploy it.
For more information about packaging and deploying your applications, see Solution Distribution.
