Add or remove a group's record navigation section on a data access page
- Open the data access page in Design view.
- Click Sorting And Grouping on the toolbar to display the Sorting And Grouping box.
- Click the group record source for which you want to add or remove a record navigation section.
- In the RecordNavigationSection property box, do one of the following:
- To add a section, click Yes. Microsoft Access adds the section and a record navigation control.
- To remove the section, click No. Access removes the record navigation section and any controls it contains.
Tip You can also remove a record navigation section and any controls in it by clicking its section bar to select it, and then pressing DELETE.
Notes
- When you delete a group level's record navigation control or record navigation section, Microsoft Access automatically changes the DataPageSize property for the group to All. If you delete the record navigation control or section for the highest group level, all the records in that group level will be displayed when you open the page in Page view or in Microsoft Internet Explorer. As a result, it might take longer to load a page.
- You can't add bound controls to a record navigation section.
