Modify the underlying query or SQL statement for a form or report

1. Open the form in Design view or the report in Design view.
   
   
2. Double-click the form selector or the report selector to open the property sheet.
   
   
3. Click the Build button next to the RecordSource property to open the query. You can modify an SQL statement in the same way that you modify a query — just drag fields and set the criteria and sort order in the design grid.

Note   If you just want to change from one table or query to another, click the arrow in the RecordSource property box to select from a list of tables and queries.
