Create custom database properties for use in locating a Microsoft Access database or Microsoft Access project

1. With the database open, click Database Properties on the File menu.
   
   
2. Click the Custom tab, and then type values for the new property in the Name, Type, and Value boxes.
   
   
3. Click Add.
   
   
4. When you have finished adding properties, click OK.
