Keep data in a record together on a page or in a column on a form or report

  1. Open the form in Design view or the report in Design view.

  2. Double-click the section selector to open the property sheet.

  3. Set the KeepTogether property to Yes. Microsoft Access starts printing the section at the top of the next page if it can't print the entire section on the current page. If the section is longer than the print area on the page, the KeepTogether property setting is ignored.

    The KeepTogether property is available for all sections except page headers and footers.

Tip   If you want to keep the data in a group together — for example, the group header, detail records, and group footer — set the KeepTogether property for the group.
