Remove a table or query from a query

1. Open a query in Design view.
   
   
2. In the upper part of query Design view, select the table or query you want to remove by clicking anywhere in its field list, and then press the DEL key.

   Fields that you have dragged from the field list to the design grid are also removed from the query. The table or query is not deleted from the database, however.
