A window in which you design tables, as shown below for a Microsoft Access database.
To open a table in Design view, go to the Database window, click Tables 
under Objects, click the table you want to open, and then click Design on the Database window toolbar.
If the table is already open, you can switch to Design view by clicking View 
on the toolbar.
