In a Microsoft Access database, a field data type for fields that will store hyperlinks. A Hyperlink field contains a hyperlink address that is composed of either text or a combination of text and numbers (numbers stored as text). A hyperlink address can have up to four parts (each part can contain up to 2,048 characters) and uses the following syntax:
