An application or DLL that supplies a linked or embedded OLE object to another application. For example, if an OLE object in a Microsoft Access database contains a Microsoft Excel worksheet, Microsoft Excel is the OLE server.
Note OLE servers are known as "object applications" in previous versions of Microsoft Access.
