Microsoft Access database

A collection of data and objects related to a particular topic or purpose. A Microsoft Access database may contain tables, queries, forms, reports, macros, modules, and shortcuts to data access pages. The Microsoft Jet database engine manages data in tables that reside in the database. Data in linked tables may reside in another Access database, in an external data source such as dBASE or Microsoft Excel, or in an ODBC data source such as Microsoft SQL Server.
