On a data access page, a control that is bound to HTML code that is stored in a field in a table. On the data access page, you can either display the contents of the field as HTML text by setting the DataFormatAs property to HTML, or run the HTML code to carry out specific actions, such as changing the color of the text, by setting the DataFormatAs property to Text. Bind the bound HTML control to a Text or Memo field in a Microsoft Access database (.mdb) or a text, ntext, or varchar column in a Microsoft Access project (.adp).
Using bound HTML controls on a data access page makes the page load faster in Page view or in Internet Explorer. However, you can't edit the values displayed in HTML controls.
