A technology that extends Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) by adding an object model. Scripts and programs can use the object model to change styles and attributes of page elements (objects) and to replace existing elements (objects) with new ones. Dynamic HTML also extends HTML by adding multimedia and database access features.
