A control used on a data access page to display a marquee — text that scrolls. Use the scrolling text control to display text that you want to catch your users' attention, such as a headline or an important announcement. You can display text stored in a field in your database by binding the scrolling text control to that field. You can customize the scrolling text control by setting options such as direction of travel, speed, and type of motion. If the Web browser cannot display scrolling text, the text will still be displayed in the control, but it won't scroll.
