Why would I ever want more than one chart?

There are many cases in which you might use multiple charts in one chart workspace. Here are some typical scenarios:

• You want to have multiple pie charts.
  
  
• You want a stock chart showing price and volume.
  
  
• You want to compare similar information, with one variable changing from chart to chart. An example of this is a chart showing SAT scores by region. This might entail four charts—North, South, East, and West—each of which compares school districts within that region by median score.
