Next Steps

This example showed the basics of creating an application component that can participate in transaction server processing. It also showed how to created ASP scripts that used these components, and participated in transactions as well. There are a number of possibilities of ways that this application could be extended and enhanced.

Enhance the display of information to the user, by displaying account balances and past transaction history.
Support user registration and login.
Use Remote Scripting, as covered in Appendix F, to provide the funds availability validation without having to submit the entire form to the server.

Even with these extensions and enhancements, the basics about working with transactional components and MTS will remain the same.
