Now, the question is: do you still think that MSMQ doesn’t have much to do with DCOM? I think we know the answer now. MSMQ is an absolutely vital ingredient in the emerging infrastructure to support distributed COM programming. With MSMQ under our belts, we can put together some really powerful distributed systems, and when you put it together with MTS, it’s pretty awesome.
In our next chapter, we’re sticking with MTS, and we’re going to scratch the surface a little and see what we can find underneath.
