The Wrox Car Company applications we've built in previous chapters have been focused on the requirements of our business and the staff we employ. In the showroom, our sales people use the computer simply to place orders that they've persuaded the customer to place, and to check on the delivery status of orders placed previously. The whole concept was one of a functional, robust and reliable application that would carry out all the tasks of placing the order both on the showroom and head office systems. For the Web, however, we need to do more than this.
