From a programming standpoint, there are no exceptionally striking differences between Windows 95 and Windows 98. This should not be particularly surprising to you, since Windows 98 is primarily an enhancement (and, in some cases, a patch) of the earlier operating system.
In subsequent chapters, I have noted some differences where performance has changed. However, none of these changes are significant enough to warrant much attention.
