This section presents tabular and graphic techniques for visualizing data.

As you plan your information model, you first identify data as objects, property values, and relationships. (See Kinds of Data: Classes, Properties, and Relationship Types.) Next, write down your data as objects, property values, and relationships, identifying the following:

  1. What the objects are.

  2. The relationships that exist between objects.

  3. For each object or relationship, what its property values are.
