RSM Basic Concepts

Removable Storage Manager can be described in terms of five basic concepts: media, physical locations, media pools, work queue items, and operator requests. The last four of these are the top level nodes in the Removable Storage Manager snap-in. The first, media, is the most fundamental concept and affects all the others.
