The RequiredHandling component, which appears in the Handling stage of an order processing pipeline, verifies that the order._handling_total name/value pair is present and is initialized to a value. If this name/value pair is not present, the RequiredHandling component adds a pur_badhandling message to the order._Purchase_Errors SimpleList.
