Managing Searchable Catalogs

Searchable catalogs are represented by a collection interface, ISearchCatalogs, to which you can add, remove, and modify individual searchable catalogs.

You can specify the following settings in an ISearchCatalog interface object:

• Whether the catalog is available for searching.
  
  
• The maximum number of result rows for a query.
  
  
• The timeout value for a query to finish.

You can perform the following actions through the ISearchCatalog interface object:

• Update a catalog.
  
  
• Determine the status of a catalog.
