Each machine that supports the COM network protocol also supports a one-per-machine interface called IRemoteActivation (which supersedes ISCMtoSCM in previous drafts of this document). This interface contains one method –- RemoteActivation –- used to activate a class object associated with a caller- supplied CLSID, file moniker, or IStorage pointer.
