6. Connectors

All hosts and SCSI peripheral subsystems are required to use the 50-position high-density shielded connector for external connections. See the SCSI-2 standard (section 5.3.2.1, shielded connector alternative 1 - A cable). All external SCSI connectors shall display the SCSI icon (figure 1) as defined in SPI Annex F.
